The Gaylor and Granite Lakes are a group of 5 high country lakes located near the Tioga Pass Entrance Station to Yosemite National Park. The Middle and Upper Gaylor Lake are easily accessed by a trail starting from the parking lot of the Tioga Pass Entrance Station.
The Granite Lakes are an easy off-trail, cross country hike west from the area of the old Great Sierra Mine and the "city" of Dana.
