We were able to make it to within a quarter of a mile from the end of the road before we encountered snow on the road. We had four wheel drive, but decided to err on the side of caution. No sense in getting stuck!

After a few minutes of final preparations, we put our packs on and start our journey. I've got the heaviest pack at 52 lbs, but the lightest snowshoes. Thank you Northern Lite's!
