Mount Lassen, Lassen Volcanic NP

Investigating the rumor that there are places to hike other than Yosemite, I loaded the family into my in-law's new RV and made the 5½ hour drive to a campground near Lassen Volcanic National Park.

After a late breakfast four of us made the 30 mile drive into the park for our Lassen Peak adventure. Our youngest daughter and her grandma stayed back at the campground.
