On April 15, 2000 me and my father-in-law Jim decided we needed to try out my new MSR Wisperlite Internationale™ stove and decide to visit Little Yosemite Valley since we had never been there before. We begin hiking the John Muir Trail (JMT) from the trail head at Happy Isles. This time of year, part of the JMT and mist trail are closed due to snow and ice.
