Sentinel Dome, Yosemite National Park

If fantastic views are what you want and you don't have the energy or time to hike to the top of Half Dome, Clouds Rest or other high places, then Sentinel Dome may be just what you are looking for. With only a few hundred feet of elevation gain and 2.2 mile round trip, Sentinel Dome makes for the perfect getaway. Standing at an elevation of 8122' it is nearly as tall as neighboring Half Dome (8836') so the views from there are quite similar. Join our family as we journey to the top.
