Located on the southern rim of Yosemite Valley, Taft Point is a fairly easy and popular day hike for thousands of tourists in the summer months. In the summertime, access is easy via a parking lot on the Glacier Point Road approximately one mile away or from Glacier Point about two miles away.

The winter months bring new challenges, different scenery and less crowds. Join me and two of my friends on our snowshoe journey to Yosemite’s Taft Point.
