The Young Lakes are a series of three lakes located about 7 miles north of Tuolumne Meadows in Yosemite National Park. They are set against the backdrop of Ragged Peak, an appropriately named peak stretching to almost 11,000'. This is a fairly popular destination, though I'm told not as crowded as other Tuolumne Meadows destinations. It has become one of my favorite places to hike. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
